Hi, just picked up my 2001 2500 Cummins Quad cab automatic. Love the truck, but wished the turbo was a bit more "Noisy". I keep hearing mention of something called a "Silencer ring" in the turbo inlet. From what i have been told, removing this will make the cool turbo "Whine" more noticable. What i need to know are 3 things, 1 How loud will this whine be? a little more then stock?, or ALOT louder to the point of it being annoying?. And most importantly, will this have ANY adverse affect on the Turbo?, or is it strictly a sound control item? and last but not least, will it void the warranty?. Any help with these questions and even simple "How-to" instructions would be GREATLY appreciated.
